Position Location: Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a structured engineering methodology to design, architect, and implement cloud technologies and platforms tailored for mission-critical solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate a comprehensive cloud strategy, develop and execute cloud architecture, and foster a culture of cloud adoption.
  • Engage with Risk Management Framework (RMF) teams to ensure cloud systems are developed and maintained in compliance with operational authority requirements.
  • Establish strategies to monitor cloud utilization in accordance with security protocols, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Provide expert guidance on cloud technologies, tools, and best practices to fulfill availability, scalability, performance, and security standards for applications in a cloud environment.
  • Assist Cybersecurity Teams by supplying technical insights for the creation and maintenance of Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation.
  • Support the deployment of security measures across workstations, servers, and other system components.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of hardware and software solutions for network environments.
  • Ensure that all hardware and software deliverables adhere to cybersecurity standards as mandated by relevant guidelines and frameworks.
  • Formulate strategies to oversee cloud usage in alignment with security requirements, ensuring peak performance is consistently achieved.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT sector, with a focus on cloud engineering in secure environments.
  • At least 3 years of experience in deploying enterprise applications on cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • IAT Level II certification is required.
