Position Overview:
This role involves performing essential maintenance and repairs on wind turbine systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. You will be part of a skilled team focused on delivering high-quality service in the renewable energy field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of wind turbines.
  • Identify and report wind turbine error codes effectively.
  • Assist in the removal and installation of various turbine components.
  • Support heavy equipment operations, including rigging and directing.
  • Collaborate closely with team leaders to ensure efficient operations.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on wind turbine controllers.
  • Complete necessary documentation and reports, including computer entries.
  • Assist in high-voltage system maintenance and repairs.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.
  • Maintain tools and vehicles in good condition.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn advanced troubleshooting techniques for wind turbines.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma is required.
  • Preferred knowledge in Technical Trades, Maintenance, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Operations.
  • Certificates or an Associate's degree in Wind Turbine Technology are advantageous.
Experience:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with GE 1.5, Vestas V-80, and/or Siemens 2.3 turbines.
  • Familiarity with GE, Vestas, and/or Siemens SCADA systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedures.
  • Capability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions to perform job functions satisfactorily.
  • Skill in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Problem-solving skills in standardized situations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in mechanically and electrically oriented tasks.
  • Relevant experience as determined by the company.
  • Completion of required training and skill assessments.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical testing equipment and standard torque values.
Licenses:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regular exposure to mechanical parts, high places, and outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be capable of climbing wind turbine towers exceeding 250 feet.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
