Elastic is a leading provider of search and analytics solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Security Enterprise Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in the enterprise and strategic customer accounts, driving demand for our Elastic Security solutions, and ensuring our customers are successful in implementing our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build awareness and drive demand for Elastic Security solutions within new enterprise accounts, working closely with regional enterprise account executives and customers to derive value from their data sets.
  • Collaborate with Elastic Security specialists and sales teams to develop account plans, strategies, and creative projects that generate sales leads.
  • Serve as an evangelist for our Elastic Security offerings, communicating and demonstrating the capabilities of our commercial features to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a player/coach to the regional sales team, teaching them how to successfully sell Elastic Security solutions.
  • Collaborate across Elastic Security product and engineering teams to stay up-to-date on our offerings and build internal relationships to ensure customer success.
  • Work with regional teams to identify new business opportunities, manage the sales cycle, and close sophisticated transactions.
  • Deliver Elastic Security customer presentations, whiteboards, and roadmaps, working closely with regional solutions architect teams to collaborate on demos.
  • Report on team cybersecurity opportunities and participate in team calls with regional sales leadership.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams on webinars, workshops, and other initiatives to drive the Elastic Security pipeline.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of high-achievement sales experience in enterprise platform solutions, particularly in SIEM, log management, cybersecurity, data analytics, or data management.
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • A track record of success selling to CIOs, CISOs, and enterprise cybersecurity teams in the Fortune 5000, with strong customer references.
  • Consultative sales approach, with the ability to challenge companies to think differently.
  • Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Success running the entire sales cycle from lead generation to close, with a disciplined approach and methodology.
  • Comfortable in an overlay team selling role, working closely with core sales teams as a partner.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with technical customers and executive decision-makers.
  • Ability to establish relationships and credibility with internal stakeholders and external cybersecurity executives.
  • Experience selling into enterprise accounts, with a strong understanding of the Open Source go-to-market model and the community of users who rely on our solutions.

  • Previous experience selling SIEM, Security Analytics, Endpoint Security, or Cloud Security solutions.
