Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Enterprise Sales Executive to join our team at Slack Enterprise. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the Retail & Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) vertical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close, establishing lasting relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Foster new relationships for Slack through outbound efforts, helping to educate customers on the value of our platform throughout the adoption cycle.
  • Navigate key decision-makers to build Slack awareness within organizations, identifying customer needs and collaborating with our team to ensure customer success.
  • Initiate, negotiate, and close new and renewal contracts with customers, communicating and organizing/escalating issues appropriately.
  • Collaborate with different members of the Accounts team to build strategic adoption plans for customers, preparing and educating them on new features and releases.
  • Monitor and identify adoption and utilization trends, providing recommendations based on customer business needs and usage patterns.
  • Conduct periodic customer health-checks with an emphasis on customer happiness, serving as the voice of the customer and collecting feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Enterprise Account Executive experience, preferably in an Enterprise SaaS organization.
  • Relevant sales experience, with a proven track record of managing a pipeline and closing large contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with customers and within an organization.
  • Shown negotiation and closing skills, with a consistent track record of navigating within Enterprise and Large Enterprise organizations.
  • Ability to develop senior-level relationships quickly and effectively, presenting to senior managers and the C-suite.
  • Ability to handle multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the buying process, taking an active interest in increasing customer satisfaction and deepening customer relationships.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive, with a Bachelor's degree required.
