Key Responsibilities:- Guest Experience: Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Leadership: Train and develop new team members, conduct daily huddles to ensure clear communication, and provide guidance and support to ensure team success.
- Inventory Management: Oversee food and beverage inventory, ordering, and FIFO process to ensure efficient operations.
- Group Reservations: Ensure group reservations are pre-assigned and pre-keyed, and initiate boards for Housekeeping in the morning.
- Meeting Room Setup: Oversee proper meeting room setup and teardown for internal and external clients.
- Manager on Duty: Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of management, ensuring seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Six months experience as a Gallery Host at Hyatt Place
- Skills: Outstanding customer service skills, ability to work well with other team members, and schedule flexibility
This position requires continuous movement and occasional lifting or moving up to 20 pounds. Regular use of a computer and different software programs is also required.
