Job Summary

As a Front Desk Agent at Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown Hotel, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, registering guests, and handling room reservations. Your primary duties will include:

  • Registering guests and ensuring a smooth check-in process
  • Providing information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
  • Handling room reservations, modifications, and cancellations
  • Operating the front desk computer system and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting with guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
Responsibilities

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be expected to:

  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hotel standards
  • Be aware of all hotel rates, packages, and promotions, as well as in-house groups and restricted dates
  • Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with colleagues
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including helping colleagues in other areas of the hotel and maintaining overall cleanliness and safety
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a hotel or related field, preferably with a positive and upbeat personality
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and hotel operations
