Role Summary:

The HR Operations Leader at Quality Steel Corporation will serve as the primary HR representative at the Fremont Plant. This position requires collaboration with various teams and leadership to align HR strategies with the company's mission and values, with a strong emphasis on employee engagement and relations. The HR Operations Leader will be a vital member of the HR team, reporting directly to the HR Business Partner Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist leadership and teams in addressing employee needs, ensuring alignment with the organization's core values and business objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive HR support for the Fremont Plant, including staffing, employee engagement, development, payroll, and attendance management.
  • Advise leaders on resolving HR-related issues, interpreting policies, and implementing initiatives that support business goals.
  • Coach management on team development and execute strategies in accordance with HR Centers of Expertise recommendations.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise to enhance HR strategies and processes that drive employee engagement and business success.
  • Exemplify Quality Steel Corporation's leadership principles and promote the company's values among all employees.
  • Maintain visibility and accessibility within daily operations, engaging with employees on the shop floor.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations, managing the onboarding and offboarding processes effectively.
  • Support Environmental Health & Safety initiatives to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles with site-specific responsibilities.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build credibility in collaborative environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, focusing on solutions aligned with industry best practices.
  • Expertise in change management to facilitate innovation and sustainable improvements.
