This role is pivotal in developing and executing HR initiatives that align with the company’s growth strategy and upcoming public offering. A thorough understanding of California labor laws and the ability to navigate the complexities of transitioning from a private to a public entity are essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic HR Planning: Formulate and implement HR strategies that facilitate the company's growth and IPO readiness.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process to attract and onboard skilled professionals who will contribute to the company's success.
- Compensation and Benefits Management: Create competitive compensation structures and benefit programs suitable for a publicly traded company.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to all federal and state employment regulations, particularly California labor laws, while staying informed about requirements for publicly listed companies.
- Performance Management Systems: Develop and oversee a performance evaluation framework that aligns with organizational goals and investor expectations.

- Risk Assessment: Identify HR-related risks during the transition and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Diversity and Inclusion Efforts: Champion diversity initiatives and ensure they align with company values and legal requirements.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in pre-IPO or IPO transition environments.
- Proficient in HR systems and tools.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar certification.
- Experience in the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) sector.
- Familiarity with SEC regulations related to human resources.
