Position Title: Fabrication Division Controller

Role Overview:
The Fabrication Division Controller will oversee all financial operations within the regional framework, focusing on financial forecasting, strategic planning, budgeting, and the establishment of financial control systems. This role requires close collaboration with Manufacturing Operations Leaders to enhance operational efficiency, manage costs, drive process improvements, and develop robust internal controls while providing sophisticated financial analyses and business partnership support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the professional staff responsible for the financial operations of the region, including forecasting, planning, budgeting, credit and collections, cost accounting, and financial control systems.
  • Supervise routine procedures and responsibilities within the regional controller organization.
  • Advise regional management to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze financial data to guide management decisions in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Establish and monitor internal control systems as directed by senior management.
  • Oversee regional credit and collections processes.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and status reports for regional and corporate management, facilitating discussions on financial matters.
  • Identify and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain systems to manage manufacturing costs and monitor product line profitability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic setting.
  • International experience is advantageous.
  • Specific experience in Contract Metal Fabrication, Machining, or similar manufacturing sectors is required.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with integrated manufacturing and financial IT systems, preferably Oracle.
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and disability coverage, savings plans, paid holidays, and paid time off for personal and vacation needs.
