Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and communicative individual to join our Finance Department.

Position Types: Internship (paid), Part-time, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the finance team on various departmental functions.
  • Assist in the establishment and upkeep of payroll processing systems.
  • Handle work records and support payroll operations.
  • Manage Accounts Payable entries, including invoice preparation and matching requisitions to invoices.
  • Maintain records for accounting vendors and subcontractors.
  • Perform general office duties such as answering inquiries, processing mail, filing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Address requests from vendors, subcontractors, and internal accounting/payroll personnel.
  • Investigate accounting discrepancies, liaising with vendors and internal staff to resolve issues and respond to inquiries.
  • Support the Accounting Manager with various departmental tasks.
Qualifications:

Basic bookkeeping experience is required, with a willingness to learn all facets of agency bookkeeping practices.

This role will involve direct collaboration with the accounting manager. The ideal candidate should be a quick thinker, adept at interacting with diverse personalities, and eager to acquire new skills.
