Role Summary:
The Key Account Manager is pivotal in steering overall account leadership and serving as the primary liaison for significant client accounts. This role focuses on nurturing existing relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities within targeted markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations.
  • Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, leveraging both existing and potential client relationships.
  • Account Leadership: Coordinate internal resources to meet client expectations and performance goals.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve designated sales volume and strategic objectives within assigned accounts.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, focusing on expanding customer base and increasing sales volume.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead comprehensive account planning processes, including budget creation and income target establishment.
  • Action Planning: Formulate and execute action plans to meet account targets and enhance profitability.
  • Customer Needs Assessment: Continuously evaluate and validate customer requirements to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Contract Negotiation: Oversee and manage contract discussions to ensure favorable terms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Service and Technical teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Insights: Maintain communication with Marketing and R&D to promote innovative applications and technologies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 5-7 years of sales experience, particularly with large accounts.
  • Proven track record in utilizing a structured sales process to drive growth.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop business strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective presentations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to navigate complex problem-solving scenarios.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required.
