Are you dedicated to ensuring safety and security while making a positive impact? We are looking for a Loss Prevention Team Leader to guide our committed team in protecting our stores and fostering a culture of accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Asset Protection team by overseeing hiring processes, conducting performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and managing schedules within budgetary constraints.
  • Engage in investigations related to internal and external losses, ensuring the implementation of deterrent strategies, including merchandise protection through effective training and follow-up with store leadership.
  • Actively participate as a member of the store's Safety Committee, promoting a culture of 200% safety accountability.
  • Conduct safety audits to identify and address unsafe conditions and behaviors, implementing corrective strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure the physical security of the assigned location, including the operational status of asset protection technology and fire safety systems, while maintaining key control and staff training.
  • Develop and execute strategies aligned with store shrink prevention plans to achieve Asset Protection objectives.
  • Maintain professional standards within the Asset Protection office, serving as a liaison with external authorities.
  • Analyze financial reports and specific processes to identify root causes of issues, collaborating with store leadership to develop solutions.
  • Conduct pre- and post-inventory assessments and analyses.
  • Participate in store meetings and training sessions, presenting on Asset Protection topics.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail is essential.
  • 1-2 years of investigative experience is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Ability to think strategically and make informed recommendations.
  • Proficient in delegating tasks to ensure completion across multiple locations.
  • Strong time management skills to maximize organizational impact.
  • Effective leadership skills to manage asset protection teams remotely.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze financial reporting tools, including Shrink and P/L statements.
  • Strong investigative skills and techniques.
  • Skilled in interviewing and interrogation tactics (Wicklander preferred).
  • Understanding of the criminal and civil justice systems.
  • Knowledge of Organized Retail Crime.
  • Familiarity with retail operations and product protection strategies.
