Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Team Lead to join our team at Havtech LLC. As an Applied Service Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets by successfully acquiring maintenance agreements, quoted service projects, and quoted repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop relationships with new clients to identify business opportunities and close deals.
  • Maintain and cultivate existing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Havtech's offerings and utilize account management processes to target customers.
  • Develop and implement specific action plans to improve project closure rates and produce profitable business within the Applied Equipment arena.
  • Develop estimates and proposals as required, and review and assign Applied Equipment leads into opportunities.
  • Develop opportunities through networking and professional organizations, and leverage Vertical Market Leaders to deliver Havtech's capabilities message regarding Applied Equipment into assigned verticals.
  • Lead or support coordinated sales efforts involving multiple Havtech sales groups, working effectively in a team selling environment.
  • Identify market trends specific to Applied Equipment and facilitate customer relationships at various levels of the customer's organization.
  • Collect and communicate project information required to successfully complete projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and attend site reviews as required, and commit to operating within and promoting all Havtech Safety protocols.
  • Confirm project scope and bill of material with customers, and assist with the collection of Accounts Receivable as needed.
  • Determine recommended selling strategy and pricing related to all team members selling into Applied Equipment opportunities.
  • Present proposals, negotiate price and contract terms/conditions with customers, and stay current with local utility incentive programs to leverage associated rebates.
  • Develop additional incentives to reward work within the Applied Equipment sector, and follow up with buying influences to secure orders.
  • Coordinate or engage in the project execution process as required, and resolve deviations in scope with the client to preserve customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Consistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities, and develop positive relationships with Havtech Leadership and employees.
  • Set measurable metrics to show Applied Equipment service market share growth year over year, and establish and lead Rental Equipment offerings within the Applied Equipment market.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position will gain supervisory responsibilities within the first year of employment, including identifying, recruiting, and developing Account Managers at various intervals of revenue achievement by the business.
  • The selected individual will be tasked with delivering on sales management responsibilities for their Account Managers' strategic development.
Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Five years of experience in HVAC Sales or a related technical field, with prior experience in sales roles with OEM HVAC Companies within the Baltimore/DC area.
  • Well-developed sales skills, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet competing deadlines.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, excellent customer relations and presentation skills, and basic PC experience in a Windows environment.
  • Ability to travel within a defined region at least 50% of the time, with occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to function independently and deliver results.
