The Operations Team Leader plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the organization in alignment with the strategic and financial objectives established by the National Manager of Warehouse Operations, under the guidance of the Operations Manager. This position is pivotal in ensuring the safety and efficiency of local operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing weekly operational schedules to fulfill workload demands.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with Inventory Control, Quality Control, Transportation, and Operations teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Support the safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of all warehouse facilities, including budgeting and customer service.
  • Oversee overall inventory management, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and loss prevention to meet business and client goals.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Step in for the Operations Manager and Supervisors as necessary.
  • Manage warehouse expenditures and procurements, including departmental supplies, and generate purchase orders for approval.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement departmental procedures.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for all supervisory staff reporting to this position.
  • Follow established protocols for annual equipment inventory management.
  • Ensure proper accounting for cross-rental equipment.
  • Oversee billing and asset control processes to ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Make recommendations for staffing levels and participate in candidate interviews.
  • Work closely with Human Resources in recruiting, onboarding, training, and managing personnel, while enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Designate a supervisor on duty as required.
  • Assist in all quality control disciplines, including audio, video, and lighting.
Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $60,146.75 to $89,133.13 per year, reflecting the company's salary range based on various factors, including experience.
