Job Description

About the Role

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Management Team Leader to join our team for a seasonal period. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient processing of shoebox gifts, and providing exceptional leadership to our team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the training, coaching, and development of a team of warehouse staff
  • Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of shoebox gifts and other inventory
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of shoebox gifts, meeting quality control standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in inventory management software
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods
