Position Summary:

The Roadway Construction Supervisor will oversee the field planning and execution of various roadway construction projects as directed by the Superintendent.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and actively promote all safety policies and procedures, ensuring all accidents, incidents, and near misses are reported to uphold our primary core value – Safety, first in all endeavors.
  • Organize and strategize work in conjunction with the Superintendent.
  • Oversee time sheets for labor and equipment, along with daily reports detailing quantities worked.
  • Monitor and evaluate crew productivity and objectives on a daily basis.
  • Enforce quality control and company safety standards across all work aspects.
  • Follow the project construction timeline to guarantee timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct daily team meetings, stretching sessions, and weekly Toolbox Talks with the crew.
  • Provide job hazard analyses prior to the commencement of new work activities.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop a material handling plan.
  • Ensure collection and submission of delivery receipts to field engineers.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a supervisor in roadway construction.

Proficient in calculating and establishing grades, as well as knowledgeable about various types of roadway construction equipment and forming systems.

Possession of a valid driving license is required.

OSHA 10 certification is mandatory.
