Job Summary:
The Construction Foreman - Roadway Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the planning and production of roadway-related construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe work environment for all team members.
- Organize and plan work with the Superintendent, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
- Direct oversight of time sheets, labor, and equipment, as well as daily reports and quantity tracking.
- Monitor crew productivity and goals, enforcing quality control and company safety policies.
- Follow project construction processes to ensure timely completion of work.
- Conduct daily huddles, stretching exercises, and weekly Toolbox Talks with the crew.
- Develop material handling plans with the Superintendent and ensure delivery receipts are collected and submitted.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a foreman in roadway-related construction.
- Knowledge of calculating and setting grades, roadway construction equipment, and forming systems.
- Valid driving license and OSHA 10 certification.
Necessary Attributes:
- Ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with strong verbal communication skills.
