Foreman - Civil Construction Project Manager

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and production of roadway related construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Organize and plan work with the Superintendent, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting project deadlines.
- Direct oversight of time sheets, labor, and equipment, as well as daily reports and productivity monitoring.
- Enforce quality control and company safety policies, maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop material handling plans and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct daily huddles, stretching exercises, and weekly Toolbox Talks with the crew, promoting open communication and a positive work environment.
- Develop job hazard analyses and ensure that all work activities are conducted in a safe and controlled manner.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a foreman in roadway related construction.
- Knowledge of calculating and setting grades, as well as operating various types of roadway construction equipment and forming systems.
- Valid driving license and OSHA 10 certification.
- Strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles.
- Self-starter with strong verbal communication skills, dedicated and hard working, with a strong commitment to the success of the team.
