Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Actalent. As a Medical Assistant - Oncology Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in an outpatient oncology setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Conduct vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and maintain accurate medical records
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • 1 year of relevant experience in a medical setting or equivalent combination of education and training
  • BLS certification and high school diploma required
  • Certification from a recognized medical assisting organization (e.g. NHA, NCCT, AAMA, NCMA, AMCA, or NAHP) required
