Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient arrival and preparation for procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any concerns to healthcare providers.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and medical information.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on medical procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate or degree preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Spanish/English proficiency preferred.
Work Environment:
This is a temp-to-perm position, Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
