Key Responsibilities

The Medical Imaging Technician will play a crucial role in the upkeep of advanced medical imaging apparatus, which includes:

Field Operations (75%)
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues with high-end medical imaging devices.
  • Implementing and following preventative maintenance protocols.
  • Maintaining accurate service logs and internal documentation promptly.
  • Addressing challenges related to imaging applications, electrical systems, computer hardware, software, and mechanical components.
  • Adhering to regulatory standards set by Health and Human Services and Environmental Health and Safety.
  • Conducting service, calibration, and quality assurance checks in accordance with ISO13485 standards.
Technical Assistance (10%)
  • Providing technical support for high-end medical imaging systems through online platforms or phone communication.
  • Engaging with clients daily to ensure issues are resolved and satisfaction is achieved.
  • Monitoring system performance and conducting analyses, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Application Support (5%)
  • Regularly collaborating with radiologists, technicians, and medical professionals to stay informed about imaging solutions and trends.
Software Support (10%)
  • Ensuring continuous operational support for software issues related to X-ray and Vascular modalities.
  • Utilizing Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) for various imaging processes.
  • Designing and delivering training programs for users, along with providing software assistance.
  • Offering support for Windows and Linux operating systems via online and telephone channels.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of high-end medical imaging equipment, particularly with CT, MRI, and General X-ray systems.
  • A valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer proficiency and understanding of network systems and equipment integration.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency on-call support as needed.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet business requirements.
