Position Overview:
We are in search of a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst who excels in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-oriented environment. This pivotal role involves collaboration with internal team members, client vendors, and external financial, legal, and tax professionals. Key responsibilities include tracking and analyzing substantial amounts of financial data, managing accounts payable/receivable and payroll, and preparing reports on various bank and brokerage accounts as well as intricate financial investments to meet tax-related deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily operations such as data entry, record maintenance, and client follow-ups.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and categorization in our accounting software.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and special reports for individuals and entities.
  • Oversee client bill payment requests to guarantee timely and precise transactions.
  • Establish new bill payment accounts and monitor activities to avoid discrepancies.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and maintain filing integrity.
  • Update and manage client net worth statements using reporting tools.
  • Analyze extensive datasets, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing for client meetings by generating reports and completing relevant tasks.
  • Conduct complex cash flow and financial planning analyses.
  • Coordinate with vendors, banking representatives, accountants, and other external parties.
  • Manage payroll for household employees, entity employees, and independent contractors.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary tax forms.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Strong bookkeeping capabilities, including data entry and account reconciliation.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with accounting software.
  • Familiarity with CPA requirements for tax-related payments and returns.
  • Knowledge of partnership accounting and estate planning mechanisms.
  • Experience with accounts receivable/payable for individuals and entities.
  • Solid understanding of personal and family finances, including budgeting and cash flow management.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll processes and tax filings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and diligent in follow-up.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable utilizing databases and online resources for research.
