Key Responsibilities & Objectives:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by strategically organizing daily activities to engage prospective clients and develop a strong sales pipeline.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain enduring relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Presentations & Proposals: Create and present persuasive sales pitches, submit comprehensive proposals, and ensure consistent follow-up with potential clients.
  • Performance Monitoring: Document all sales activities in Salesforce, collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams, and provide regular updates to management through pipeline assessments and performance evaluations.
  • Market Research: Analyze competitor pricing and offerings, gather pertinent market intelligence, and suggest strategic modifications to maintain competitiveness.
  • Contract Negotiation: Work alongside management and legal counsel to negotiate high-value contracts, ensuring advantageous terms and successful agreements.
  • Forecasting & Pricing: Collect data to support accurate forecasting and project pricing, aiding in strategic business planning.
  • Professional Growth: Enhance professional knowledge by attending training sessions, reviewing industry literature, and participating in relevant conferences.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist team members with related tasks and contribute to shared objectives by fulfilling assigned responsibilities.
  • Sales Targets & KPIs: Achieve or surpass sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to promote company growth and success.

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (8+ years).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of demonstrated B2B sales experience, preferably in the commercial solar sector.
  • Familiarity with the solar industry, including system design, construction, product knowledge, and regulatory standards.
  • Experience in negotiating high-value contracts.

Special Requirements:

  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn various software programs.
  • Strong networking capabilities with a proven track record of expanding customer bases.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Work Environment:

  • This position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2-3 days in the office.
