Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, creating a positive impression of the Maxx Fitness facility.
  • Engage with customers via phone and in-person to provide information about memberships and services.
  • Ensure customer issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.
  • Complete membership applications, update records, and manage service requests using check-in systems.
  • Follow up with customers to address inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Build rapport with customers to promote sales of new memberships and additional services.
  • Greet and farewell members in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Anticipate member needs and respond promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent telephone service, ensuring calls are answered knowledgeably and accurately.
  • Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to address customer concerns, ensuring a pleasant experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Six months of face-to-face customer service experience in a retail setting is required; one year of fitness experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Open availability to work 20-25 hours per week.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certification as a Fitness Trainer or Instructor is preferred.
