Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, creating a positive impression of the Maxx Fitness facility.
  • Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone to provide information about memberships and services.
  • Ensure customer issues are addressed and resolved effectively.
  • Process membership applications, update records, and manage service requests using check-in systems.
  • Follow up with customers to address inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Build rapport with customers to encourage membership sales and additional services.
  • Greet and farewell members in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Anticipate and respond to member needs promptly.
  • Provide efficient and knowledgeable telephone service, ensuring accurate information is conveyed.
  • Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer concerns, ensuring a pleasant experience.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, ideally in the fitness sector.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Six months of face-to-face customer service experience in a retail setting is required; one year of fitness experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Open availability to work 20-25 hours per week.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certification as a Fitness Trainer or Instructor is preferred.
