We are looking for a dynamic and driven Regional Marketing Manager to spearhead the formulation and execution of marketing strategies and initiatives for our extensive portfolio of cell culture products, process liquids, production chemicals, peptones, and associated services.
Work Environment:
This role is designed for a flexible work arrangement, allowing for remote engagement while being part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage regional marketing strategies to stimulate demand for our Biologicals and Chemicals Division (BCD).
- Create and deliver sales enablement materials and training, while integrating feedback from sales and customer insights into our business strategies.
- Generate a robust lead generation and sales opportunity pipeline through targeted promotional activities and marketing-led events, including webinars and trade shows.
- Collaborate with global BCD colleagues to contribute to the overarching strategy, tailoring approaches as necessary for the North American market.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to discern customer requirements and market dynamics, leveraging this data to shape marketing strategies.
- Provide monthly evaluations of marketing objectives against established plans, producing essential metrics to ensure the successful execution of the marketing strategy.
- Continuously optimize marketing programs to surpass targets and address any performance issues.
- Monitor and assess marketing campaign outcomes, offering insights and recommendations to enhance marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
- Stay updated on trends within the bioprocessing industry, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree is essential, preferably in Bioprocessing, Biology, or a related life sciences field. Advanced degrees such as a PhD, MS, or MBA are advantageous.
- A minimum of 6 years of combined experience in marketing and life sciences, with a focus on developing marketing campaigns tailored to the biopharma/biotech sector.
Skills and Competencies
- A self-starter with a collaborative spirit, possessing a proven track record in global, matrixed environments and effectively managing expectations across diverse teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership and large audiences.
- Strong leadership in marketing project management, with a keen creative intuition for design and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Capable of developing and delivering presentations and training sessions for varied audiences, including sales teams and regional marketing.
- Ability to manage project scope, budget, and timelines to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
