Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Installed Building Products. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our insulation and fireplace products to residential and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Sales Presentations and Product Demonstrations: Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers to showcase the benefits of our products.
  • Quote Management: Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Relationship Building: Follow up with leads and maintain relationships with current customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Industry Events: Attend trade shows and industry events to promote our products and services, and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the installation team to ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed sales targets and goals, ensuring that the company's revenue and growth objectives are met.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry Experience: Previous sales experience in the insulation and/or fireplace industry is preferred.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction and building codes, as well as basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift light to moderate weight and sit for extended periods to complete job tasks.
