Position Overview
The Energy Components application is a customizable software solution by Quorum Software designed to support production volume management through a Java-based front-end and an Oracle database back-end. The Energy Components Senior Analyst - Reporting Specialist role is situated within the Information Technology Technical Capabilities organization, focusing on the technical operation and configuration of multiple global instances of the Energy Components application. This role involves direct collaboration with teams in various regions involved in hydrocarbon production volume management and revenue accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering 24/7 technical support for multiple globally distributed instances of the Energy Components application.
  • Identifying and resolving general or system-level issues.
  • Developing Oracle database objects and configuring the Energy Components application.
  • Managing ServiceNow Incidents, Tasks, and Change Requests.
  • Handling Atlassian Jira Work Requests, Stories, and Sub-Tasks.
  • Supporting existing Business Objects universes and reports linked to Energy Components.
  • Transforming Business Objects reports into alternative reporting platforms, such as Jasper.
  • Executing and managing daily tasks according to SAFe Agile methodologies.
  • Creating and updating process documentation.
Qualifications
Basic/Required:
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • 10+ years of Information Technology experience in a technical capacity within the oil and gas sector.
  • 10+ years of experience providing technical support for diverse Energy Components application instances, including version 13.x.
  • 10+ years of experience with reporting platforms (e.g., Business Objects or Jasper) related to Energy Components.
  • 7+ years of experience in developing Oracle relational database objects.
  • Willingness to provide day-to-day application support and after-hours callout on a rotational basis.
Preferred:
  • 12+ years of experience providing technical support for multiple Energy Components application instances for a major international oil company, including version 13.2.x.
  • 10+ years of experience developing Oracle relational database objects.
  • 10+ years of experience using TOAD for Oracle or SQL Developer.
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing ServiceNow for Incident Management and Problem Resolution.
  • 1+ years of experience using Atlassian Jira for agile workflow.
  • 1+ years of experience converting reports from one platform to another, e.g., Business Objects to Jasper.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to perform and manage work according to SAFe Agile processes.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills with diverse international teams.
  • Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and coordinate activities with attention to detail.
  • Ownership of actions and commitment to deliver results.
  • Independent execution of realistic planning to achieve goals.
