The Sales and Use Tax Analyst will manage a high-volume workload with diverse daily tasks. This role is essential for supporting sales and use tax account reconciliations and accounting entries; conducting audits; and handling various sales and use tax assignments and special initiatives. This position collaborates closely with other business units, vendors, and clients, requiring the analyst to be attuned to the demands of the monthly tax preparation timeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Sales and Use accounting entries and GL account reconciliations as necessary.
  • Assist with Sales and Use tax audit data requests and research as required.
  • Contribute to Sales and Use projects as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, and SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work under monthly deadlines with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the following areas is advantageous:
  • Account reconciliation expertise.
  • A/P processing or issue resolution.
  • Purchasing or PO experience.
  • Inventory accounting.
  • Movement or deal processing.
  • Commercial or Wholesale Marketing business experience/exposure.
Skill Development Opportunities:
  • Understanding of Sales and Use Tax accounting.
  • Familiarity with Sales and Use tax software.
  • Insight into the fundamentals of Sales and Use Tax Audits.
  • Expanding professional network.
