Senior Analyst for Energy Components

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering round-the-clock technical assistance for various globally distributed instances of the Energy Components application.
  • Identifying and resolving both general and system-level issues.
  • Designing Oracle database objects and configuring the Energy Components application accordingly.
  • Managing and addressing ServiceNow Incidents, Tasks, and Change Requests.
  • Handling Atlassian Jira Work Requests, Stories, and Sub-Tasks effectively.
  • Maintaining existing Business Objects universes and reports related to Energy Components.
  • Transforming Business Objects reports into alternative reporting platforms, such as Jasper.
  • Executing and overseeing daily operations in alignment with SAFe Agile methodologies.
  • Creating and revising process documentation as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology within a technical capacity in the oil and gas sector.
  • At least 10 years of experience providing technical support for various Energy Components application instances, including version 13.x.
  • 10 or more years of experience utilizing reporting platforms (e.g., Business Objects or Jasper) in conjunction with Energy Components.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in developing Oracle relational database objects.
  • Willingness and capability (with or without reasonable accommodations) to provide daily application support and participate in after-hours callouts on a rotational basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of experience offering technical support for multiple Energy Components application instances for a major international oil company, including version 13.2.x.
  • 10 or more years of experience in developing Oracle relational database objects.
  • 10 or more years of experience using TOAD for Oracle or SQL Developer.
  • 5 or more years of experience utilizing ServiceNow for Incident Management and Problem Resolution.
  • 1 or more years of experience using Atlassian Jira for agile workflows.
  • 1 or more years of experience converting reports from one platform to another, e.g., Business Objects to Jasper.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • A methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to perform and manage tasks according to SAFe Agile processes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with diverse international teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Capability to multi-task and seamlessly switch between tasks in a team environment.
  • Ability to independently prioritize, troubleshoot, and coordinate activities with a keen focus on details.
  • Accountability for actions and commitment to deliver results.
  • Ability to work autonomously and achieve positive outcomes through realistic planning and execution.
  • Developing effective solutions based on available information and making timely, ethical decisions.
