Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
Your duties may encompass:
  • Documenting revenue, distributing production, managing invoices, reconciling accounts, and addressing inquiries related to taxes and royalties
  • Evaluating monthly results to ensure financial precision
  • Investigating disputes among working interest owners, liaising with relevant contacts within the organization to resolve issues, and ensuring our financial systems accurately reflect monthly accounting activities
  • Overseeing master data, ensuring timely completion of monthly joint venture closings, and monitoring control reports
  • Managing monthly depreciation, asset transfers, and impairments while providing variance analysis
  • Reviewing monthly activities related to Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO), leaseholds, dry holes, capital accruals, and disposals
  • Processing and analyzing activities associated with account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, debt, investment and equity accounting, and Foreign Exchange (FX)
Essential Qualifications:
  • Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer other than the current one
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline or its foreign equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Basic proficiency with MS O365 Applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Basic proficiency with SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience with SAP
  • Advanced proficiency in financial and operational analysis, data analytics, and presentation skills
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and operate under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates accountability for actions and follows through on commitments, holding others accountable and advocating for integrity
  • Achieves positive outcomes through realistic planning to meet objectives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills
