Position Overview:

The Industrial Maintenance Operations Supervisor will be tasked with managing all facets of maintenance services for our clients in the industrial sector.

This role involves leading a dedicated team of maintenance professionals, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance service activities across various industrial facilities.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to maintenance staff, including responsibilities for hiring, training, performance assessments, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Engage with clients to ascertain their maintenance needs and guarantee that services are delivered to meet those expectations.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Prepare cost estimates utilizing company templates and standards.
  • Develop and implement schedules for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for completed projects.
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment for maintenance personnel and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate procurement processes to ensure the timely availability of necessary spare parts and materials for maintenance activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Perform required internal and external reporting.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in maintenance technologies and techniques.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred, along with relevant work experience. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in maintenance management, particularly within an industrial or manufacturing context, is essential. Experience in sectors such as Power, Oil, Gas, or Chemical is advantageous.

Strong leadership and team management skills are required, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of maintenance technicians. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

A solid understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and methodologies is necessary, along with knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to industrial maintenance operations.

Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills are essential, along with the capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves regular travel for maintenance work within a designated radius. Candidates must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, as well as stoop, bend, walk, crouch, and climb as required. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs is necessary, along with clear communication abilities.
