Position Summary:

The Maintenance Operations Manager will collaborate closely with the factory team to implement effective Breakdown, Preventive, and Predictive maintenance strategies for plant machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement robust maintenance practices to ensure optimal machinery performance.
  • Oversee Plant Utility Maintenance, including timely servicing, AMC, and calibrations.
  • Lead Automation projects in conjunction with Process Engineering to align with Industry 4.0 standards.
  • Manage Line Automation and the programming and servicing of PLCs.

Maintenance Excellence:

  • Adopt Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices to achieve zero breakdowns.
  • Initiate energy-saving and noise reduction projects.
  • Classify machines (ABC) and manage spare parts for critical machinery and utilities.
  • Drive initiatives focused on Digital Factory and Industry 4.0 advancements.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices throughout all phases of maintenance operations. Implement protocols to minimize risks to personnel and equipment.

Analytical Assessments:

  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential equipment failures.
  • Evaluate equipment reliability using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTBF and MTTR.
  • Optimize maintenance strategies based on breakdown data analysis.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability for critical components.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Experience with PLC programming and control systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and maintenance techniques.
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies.
  • Basic machining skills and experience with equipment installation.
