OVERVIEW OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:


The Aerospace Maintenance Technician will embody the core values of Sweet Helicopters: Integrity, Respect, Support, Positivity, and a Drive for Continuous Improvement.

We are looking for a dedicated technician to ensure that our aircraft are maintained to the highest safety standards. Your main duties will involve the upkeep and repair of various aircraft systems. You will identify issues and resolve them using both hand and power tools.

Collaboration is key; you will work alongside your supervisor and fellow technicians to provide effective and timely maintenance solutions.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct routine inspections of aircraft systems
Maintain and service equipment
Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues
Repair or replace malfunctioning aircraft components
Perform troubleshooting tasks
Document maintenance and repair activities
Employ hand and power tools (e.g., drills, wrenches)
Interpret and apply technical manuals and schematics
Adhere to safety regulations
Lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs. and carry them over a distance of 100 feet

Engage in various physical activities including standing, sitting, kneeling, and working in confined spaces for short durations.

Ascend and descend ladders as required
Recognize safety hazards and respond appropriately – vision correctable to 20/20

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
A&P Certification is mandatory
Inspection Authorization is essential
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with commercial and general aviation aircraft (piston engines)
Proficiency in English
Successful completion of a Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screening

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Experience with Diamond, Cirrus, and Cessna aircraft is advantageous
