NXP's Sales and Applications Engineering team is in search of dynamic, competitive, and self-driven sales professionals eager to collaborate with a talented group, engaging customers to create groundbreaking technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume full business responsibility for a designated geographic area, encompassing all mass market clients across various verticals including smart home, industrial, consumer, automotive, retail, and medical.
- Collaborate with distribution partners to identify new customer initiatives, propose technical solutions leveraging NXP's products and services, negotiate favorable outcomes, and provide ongoing support throughout the product development process.
- Formulate a detailed account strategy to ensure regular communication with key decision-makers, gaining insights into their critical priorities and future technology requirements.
- Manage all customer communications and facilitate internal communications with essential stakeholders within NXP's product lines.
- Work closely with local field applications engineering and product lines to deliver exceptional technical service and responsiveness to customer needs.
- Engage with franchised distributors to meet all objectives, ensuring accountability for distribution performance in the market.
- Collaborate with local distribution branches to connect with end-customers, fostering mutually beneficial business relationships.
- Measure success through the growth of NXP sales and new design wins within your customer base, tracked via local distribution partners.
- Focus on key customers located in the US, specifically in the California regions of Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego.
- Establishes robust customer relationships and collaborates at the executive level to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Effectively navigates ambiguity, manages risks, and makes informed decisions even without complete information.
- Exhibits high learning agility and strong analytical capabilities, possessing both technical knowledge and business acumen, with experience in R&D being advantageous.
- Self-motivated and driven, thriving in a fast-paced technology environment to implement real-world solutions.
- Possesses the ability to influence and articulate the value proposition of NXP's products tailored to each customer.
- Builds strong collaborative relationships with Business Lines, aligning them effectively with end customers.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a Master's degree in the same fields.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in semiconductor technical sales or field applications engineering.
- Ability to maintain technical expertise in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-organized with effective time management abilities.
- Enthusiastic and creative, eager to learn about both business and technical subjects.
- Capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced setting.

- Due to the travel requirements of the role, candidates must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with some air travel expected.
- This is a home-based position, ideally located within the Los Angeles metro area.
The base salary range for this position is competitive, complemented by benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and paid leave. Please note that this salary range is specific to California and may vary based on qualifications, skill level, and other organizational needs.
