Job Overview

The Specialty Manufacturing Company is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to drive our continued growth and management of customer relationships. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and servicing accounts in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Account Management
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities and expanding our market share.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality, to ensure seamless customer service and support.
  • Business Development
    • Identify new markets and opportunities for growth, developing and implementing strategies to penetrate new accounts.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute marketing and sales plans.
  • Customer Service and Support
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in sales and account management.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong technical aptitude and experience in valve fluid control industries, machining, and injection molding.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
    • Solid organizational, mathematical, and analytical abilities, with the ability to analyze customer requirements and develop effective solutions.
