About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vocational Truck Sales Manager to join our team at Allstate Peterbilt Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a team of specialized vocational truck sales professionals and establishing strong relationships with body and equipment upfitters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of vocational truck sales professionals to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with body and equipment upfitters to increase sales and revenue.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of vocational trucks and applications to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Customer Interactions: Lead by example in customer interactions, support the sales team in presentations and order closures, and actively seek out new vocational opportunities.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit and train sales personnel to become vocational experts and enhance the overall sales team performance.
Qualifications
  • Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong work ethic with outstanding self-discipline and time management skills.
  • Mechanical Skills: Possess excellent mechanical skills and a quick learning ability.
  • Vocational Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of vocational trucks and applications.
  • Customer Relations: Possess prior experience in customer relations within the trucking industry or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, sales team, and upfitters.
  • Education and Certifications: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a commercial driver's license or the ability to obtain one.
