Role Summary
The Recruitment Manager plays a pivotal role in identifying, nurturing, and selecting exceptional talent for the City Teaching Alliance's teacher preparation program. This position involves establishing a strong regional presence for the organization, forming strategic partnerships, conducting outreach to potential candidates, and participating in various events to attract applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation:
- Develop and maintain a diverse candidate pipeline using various platforms.
- Formulate recruitment strategies for portfolio schools and partner organizations.
- Manage relationships with university career centers and professional organizations.
- Research and build a network of contacts to identify potential candidates.
- Candidate Engagement:
- Foster relationships with prospective candidates throughout the application journey.
- Conduct outreach to encourage candidates to apply or engage with recruiters.
- Facilitate discussions about the organization's mission and programs.
- Utilize storytelling to engage candidates effectively.
- Support candidates through the application process with consistent follow-ups.
- Partnership Development:
- Collaborate with team members to enhance recruitment practices.
- Build partnerships with university stakeholders and candidate networks.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate recruitment data in Salesforce.
- Document conversations with prospects to track progress.
- Analyze data to identify recruitment opportunities.
- Team Culture:
- Contribute positively to team culture and dynamics.
- Commit to anti-racist practices and continuous learning.
- Selection Process:
- Participate in candidate selection and interview processes.
- Maintain relationships with regional teams to support recruitment efforts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving goals.
- Ability to analyze data to inform recruitment strategies.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Experience in recruitment or sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms is highly desirable.
