Terracon is seeking an experienced Asbestos Industrial Hygiene Group Manager to lead our team in Glendale Heights, IL. As a key member of our Environmental Services group, you will be responsible for supervising projects, developing business opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to client requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and manage employee staffing plans, recruitment, selection, and onboarding.
  • Prepare and execute annual business plans for the specialty service group.
  • Oversee and manage key group metrics, including revenue growth, staff chargeability, project billing, and collections.
  • Lead safety efforts and ensure team members follow safety rules and guidelines.
  • Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
  • 15 years of practice experience in industrial hygiene and asbestos management.
  • Licensed ACM building inspector in IL, IN, MI, and ASP.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
Preferred Certification
  • CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist)
  • Licensed Lead Assessor
