Job Summary:

As a Sales Manager at the Amato Automotive Group, you will be responsible for leading our sales team to achieve monthly sales forecasts and sustaining sufficient gross to meet profit objectives. You will create and organize all sales activities for the Sales department, ensuring that salespeople are informed of all inventory and current advertising efforts. Additionally, you will build rapport with sales team members and assist with their sales efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet monthly sales volume forecasts and sustain sufficient gross to meet profit objectives.
  • Create and organize all sales activities for the Sales department.
  • Ensure that salespeople are informed of all inventory and current advertising efforts.
  • Build rapport with sales team members and assist with their sales efforts.
  • Appraise all incoming vehicles.
  • Ensure that cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning is performed within the dealership's cost and time limitations.
  • Establish and control wholesaling activities.
  • Work with General Managers to forecast monthly sales expenses.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction during the entire purchase experience.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
  • Partner with the Financial Services Department to develop and coordinate best practices for the most efficient and effective sales approach.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of Automotive Sales Management experience.
  • Proficient at operating a personal computer, including Microsoft Office: Excel and Word.
  • ADP Dealer Services Experience a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
  • Strong take-charge leadership attitude with a record of team building to include recruiting, training, and motivating.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of the local market and auctions.
  • Real attitude with high-energy personality.
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
