About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Management Specialist to join our team at Plante Moran. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the firm's resources, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Develop and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation, ensuring that the right people are working on the right projects at the right time.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Manage the scheduling process for the office, department, and region, ensuring that staff are properly assigned and utilized.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with office leadership to achieve office utilization goals, meet recommended industry group mix requirements, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Data Management: Update data in scheduling systems to ensure accuracy and consistency, and create reports to help inform resource allocation decisions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with staff, managers, and partners to ensure that resource needs are met, and that staff are properly supported and utilized.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a professional services or public accounting firm, preferably in a scheduling or operations role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, ability to multitask, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Skills: Expert level skills with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
