Job Overview

Resource Innovations is in search of a skilled Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Program Manager to enhance our expanding Government Services division. This role is pivotal in the effective initiation of IRA programs, particularly focusing on Homes and HEEHRA across various states. You will collaborate closely with our senior leadership team, including the SVP of Program Delivery and the VP of PMO, to create a scalable and exemplary startup function. Once the initial launch phase concludes, this position will transition into overseeing the ongoing programs you helped establish.

As a Program Manager at Resource Innovations, your responsibilities will include working in tandem with senior program leaders to ensure that we not only meet internal timelines but also surpass the expectations of our partners and clients. You will be instrumental in establishing best practices, managing multiple projects, and ensuring that deliverables and milestones are consistently achieved while fostering cross-functional collaboration within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support the operations of large-scale energy initiatives in conjunction with program leadership, delivery partners, and State Energy offices.
  • Monitor high-level program deliverables, timelines, and milestones to ensure alignment with the program's goals and priorities.
  • Organize and coordinate leadership meetings, including agenda tracking, note-taking, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams, including Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Engage with clients both in-person and virtually throughout the project duration.
  • Assist in resolving issues by collaborating with colleagues and subcontractors, preparing materials for leadership briefings on emerging challenges.
  • Conduct necessary analyses to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to the greater Columbus area.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the energy efficiency sector.
  • Exceptional organizational and scheduling abilities.
  • Experience in client management.
  • Demonstrated capability in tracking project timelines.
  • Willingness to exert extra effort when necessary, with support from the team.
  • Highly motivated with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Asana, Smartsheets, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • A high degree of cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in energy efficiency or utility sectors, particularly in market transformation.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with governmental clients and agencies.
  • Prior experience in managing energy efficiency programs.
