Position Overview:

Windstream Enterprise is actively seeking a Customer Development Manager II who is eager to collaborate with fellow team members to establish a solid foundation for our clients' success. Our approach is characterized by a commitment to the following principles:

  • Providing prompt responses to client inquiries, focusing on technologies that facilitate growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively connect with a portfolio of established Windstream Enterprise clients to cultivate and sustain relationships while enhancing their operations with our advanced technology solutions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers and IT vendors, aiming to become the preferred resource for communication solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales partners to promote communication solutions to key decision-makers within your designated client base.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to design tailored communication solutions for clients.
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate pricing in alignment with company margins.
  • Manage and track a sales pipeline to achieve or surpass monthly renewal and conversion targets.
  • Maintain adherence to quality standards, focusing on efficiency, customer feedback, and knowledge-based metrics.
  • Document all interactions, transactions, and communications with clients.
  • Stay informed about the latest products, processes, and promotions to deliver the most suitable solutions to clients.
  • Make outbound calls to engage decision-makers and close sales effectively.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Sales Support teams to identify appropriate solutions that meet client needs.
  • Finalize sales and oversee order processing to ensure a superior customer experience.
  • Contribute to the Windstream Enterprise culture by fostering a positive and motivated sales team environment.

Qualifications:

A college degree or equivalent experience along with 4-6 years of professional experience in a related field (inside or direct sales); or 8+ years of equivalent professional experience; or a combination of education and relevant professional experience is required.
