About the Role

The Business Banking Relationship Manager Assistant II is a key component to the Commercial Banking model and may serve as liaison between Relationship Managers and customers. The position is involved in all lending and depository aspects of the relationship, in addition to coordinating relationships with other Lines of Businesses and/or subsidiaries.

This is an on-site position that requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills to maintain and clear all Customer Information Profiles, credit, insurance, and policy exceptions. The ideal candidate will have a stable job history and be able to prepare and review all account documentation pertinent to loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Preparation and Review: Prepare and review all account documentation pertinent to loans, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Collateral Management: Review loan files to ensure the completeness of the file, and that all collateral has been properly secured.
  • CIP and Credit Management: Maintain and clear all Customer Information Profiles, credit, insurance, and policy exceptions.
  • Relationship Coordination: Coordinate loan renewal efforts, fee refunds, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Relationship Managers, Loan Officers, and other team members to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) preferred.
  • Experience: 2-6 years of related experience and/or training in commercial banking or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in computer skills and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, internet, email, database, presentation, and project software (Microsoft Office).
  • Personal Qualities: Stable job history, exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills, ability to write reports and correspondence, and a professional appearance and demeanor.
