Information Desk Coordinator

Williamson Health is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Information Desk Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely information to patients, visitors, and staff, including directions, hospital policies, and resources.
- Manage incoming calls and direct or transfer them to the appropriate departments or patient rooms.
- Organize and maintain the work area, including the Information Desk, Main Lobby, and Volunteer Lounge.
- Maintain literature holders and flu station stands in and around the Main Lobby and Tower Lobby.
- Escort visitors to their destinations as needed.
- Log and assist with flower deliveries.
- Complete clerical assignments from the Volunteer Program Coordinator in a timely and accurate manner.
- Identify lobby wheelchair maintenance issues and complete work orders for repairs.
- Direct the activity of volunteers assigned to the Information Desk.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of clerical/office, receptionist, and/or customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time and walk short distances to escort visitors.
