Job Summary

Williamson Health is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Information Desk Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide accurate and timely information to patients, visitors, and staff, including directions, hospital policies, and resources.
  2. Manage incoming calls and direct or transfer them to the appropriate departments or patient rooms.
  3. Organize and maintain the work area, including the Information Desk, Main Lobby, and Volunteer Lounge.
  4. Maintain literature holders and flu station stands in and around the Main Lobby and Tower Lobby.
  5. Escort visitors to their destinations as needed.
  6. Log and assist with flower deliveries.
  7. Complete clerical assignments from the Volunteer Program Coordinator in a timely and accurate manner.
  8. Identify lobby wheelchair maintenance issues and complete work orders for repairs.
  9. Direct the activity of volunteers assigned to the Information Desk.
  10. Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of clerical/office, receptionist, and/or customer service experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time and walk short distances to escort visitors.
