Job Title: Senior Manager Talent Acquisition

MTA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Talent Acquisition to join our team. As a key member of our People Team, you will be responsible for implementing talent acquisition strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute effective recruitment and selection processes to source diverse and talented applicants.
  • Manage a team of recruitment professionals to ensure timely and efficient hiring processes.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to identify talent acquisition needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Design and implement innovative recruitment marketing campaigns to attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with the Compensation team to oversee and direct salary recommendations and offers for all non-represented and certain represented roles.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors to ensure access to top talent.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and recruitment marketing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or a related area, including at least 3 years of supervisory, managerial or project management experience in a large, multi-faceted, fast-paced organization.
  • Strong knowledge of full cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employer branding.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategies to source and recruit top talent based on defined job criteria and competencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of NYS Civil Service Law and DCAS rules and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of labor agreements and employment laws including Equal Employment Opportunity laws.
  • Knowledge of MTA Compensation policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Attainment of or in the process of attaining SPHR or SHRM certification in HR management.
  • Prior experience working in a large, multi-faceted, fast-paced organization.
  • Familiarity with the MTA's policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the MTA's collective bargaining procedures.
