Business Unit Manager

Join a dynamic and innovative company, Tsugami America, as a Business Unit Manager. This role is responsible for promoting the sales of Tsugami America product solutions and ensuring the delivery of strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet annual sales performance goals through effective planning and execution with Regional Sales Managers and Distribution partners.
- Collaborate with sales reps, distributors, and external partners to enhance market reach.
- Define and coordinate action plans based on sales strategies.
- Continuously improve technical and communication skills.
- Instill trust in times of change and market variations.
- Persistently strive for results and act with a strong orientation to critical initiatives.
- Ensure forecasting accuracy and reporting to the Vice President of Sales by maintaining a healthy SalesForce pipeline.
- Coordinate inventory management with counterpart Business Unit Manager.
- Maintain pricing strategy for the marketplace with counterpart Business Unit Manager and Vice President of Sales.
- Work closely with distribution partners on competitive accounts and focused industry segments.
- Collaborate with Tsugami America technical colleagues to deliver on customer pre-sale needs.
- Drive post-sales communication with the highest level of professionalism and sensitivity to resolve difficult customer issues.
- Participate in regional industry associations to attract new opportunities.
- 5-15 years of sales experience in manufacturing, capital equipment (Swiss or CNC preferred).
- Results-driven, solid intuition for business, and excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field strongly preferred.
- Microsoft Office, SalesForce, CAD required.

- Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
- Able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting of moderate to heavyweight material up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to frequently use hands and arms.
- Vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to keep their composure with the public and co-workers in everyday, stressful situations.
