Business Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team at Conning & Company. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding our presence in the insurance asset management industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand Conning's presence in the market
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to inform business decisions
- Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance investment management
- CFA or MBA (or other graduate business-related degree) highly desirable
- FINRA Series 7 & 63 preferred or willingness to pass the exams upon hire
- Strong knowledge of institutional insurance portfolios and asset classes
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel regularly
