Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Leasing Sales Executive to join our team at The Bancorp Bank, N.A. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our automotive and equipment leasing product and service sales within an assigned territory.


Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a sales plan to attract clients to our vehicle and equipment leasing products and services, and grow the business with commercial, government, franchise, and individual clients.


  • Build relationships through advertising strategies, establishing quality referral sources, and contacting prospects and clients directly.
  • Network with existing clients and contacts existing and prospective clients to sell vehicle and equipment leases and associated products and services.
  • Market the company to prospects, pitching the financial advantages of leasing and evaluating the effectiveness of the sales approach.
  • Listen to client needs and recommend suitable vehicles, develop an in-depth knowledge of clients and their needs, and negotiate and close sales.
  • Develop and present leasing terms and conditions, simulate calculations, and prepare clear cost estimates for clients.
  • Attend automotive and business conferences and events to prospect for new clients and meet with existing clients to increase brand recognition.
  • Prepare paperwork for lease credit approval and ensure administrative activities run smoothly.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • An undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Five years of automotive, leasing, or related sales experience.
  • A valid driver's license and no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents within the last 3 years.
  • Strong working knowledge of the automotive industry and product specifications.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, as well as excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and travel regularly.
