Job Overview

Phoenix Group of Virginia, Inc. is in search of a meticulous and experienced Logistics Provisioning Specialist II. The selected individual will be tasked with evaluating and interpreting Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and Equipment Data Files (EDFP), ensuring the maintenance of plans, applying technical coding such as Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SM&R) codes, and generating Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs) within ICAPS C/S to create or update Allowance Parts Lists (APLs). The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in applying APL worthiness criteria to identify components suitable for APL inclusion and recognizing maintenance-critical parts on equipment schematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Evaluation: Scrutinize PTD and EDFP for precision and thoroughness.
  • Plan Maintenance: Guarantee that maintenance plans are current and adhere to necessary standards.
  • Technical Coding Application: Implement technical codes, including SM&R codes, to pertinent documents and lists.
  • PPL Development: Create and revise Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs) in ICAPS C/S.
  • APL Updates: Formulate and sustain Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) based on thorough analysis and technical coding.
  • APL Worthiness Assessment: Utilize APL worthiness criteria to pinpoint components appropriate for inclusion.
  • Maintenance Parts Identification: Identify and document maintenance-critical parts on equipment schematics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in the evaluation and analysis of PTD/EDFP and maintenance plans.
  • Experience in applying technical coding, including SM&R codes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs) in ICAPS C/S.
  • Experience in applying APL worthiness criteria to identify APL-worthy components.
  • Capability to identify maintenance-critical parts on equipment schematics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in ICAPS C/S and familiarity with technical documentation standards.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Work Environment:

This role may involve working in an office environment with occasional travel for on-site evaluations and reviews. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple tasks and adhering to deadlines.
